About Us
SGO, or Stained Glass Overlay, was originally opened in Hamilton in 1982 by Mr. Ray McGorrian. In 2004, after many years of creating beautiful glass in the Hamilton area, Mr. McGorrian retired and since then SGO Designer Glass has been owned and operated by mother and son team, Glenda and Josh van Koot.
At SGO Designer Glass we are committed to working closely with our clients to help turn their vision into creative, customized decorative glass solutions for homes, businesses and places of worship. If you need help in defining your "vision" we have photos, pattern books and a large design database to help you determine what you would like your work of art to encompass.
It can be traditional, modern, art deco, or geometric. Would you prefer a scene or florals? Lots of colour or no colour? We can replicate your family coat of arms, crests, logos or even a photograph! We understand what it takes to produce art glass that will enhance the pleasure, privacy and productivity of your space.
