Our primary goal at SGO Designer Glass is to ensure that every one of our customers is not only delighted with their finished piece of decorative art glass, but that they are equally happy with the process involved.
The initial meeting usually takes place at our studio where we can discuss your specific needs or challenges and you can view the variety of options available. Rough measurements are helpful at this stage as we can then provide you with an approximate estimate of costs depending on the design direction and anticipated installation method. If possible, clients will often bring photos as well to help us visualize their space.
What’s The Next Step?
Using specialized CAD tools, our designer will begin to create your artwork and a time will be determined to visit the site to verify measurements and determine the best method of installation. At this stage we will require a deposit of 30% of our initial estimate to begin the design work on your project.
Working closely with you during this phase, initial designs will be ready within 2 weeks and can be sent to you via e-mail or fax. Simple changes or adjustments can be requested during this exchange, followed by a final visit to our studio to view a full scale line drawing of your design and to confirm your choice of colours and/or textures. Upon approval of the final design, estimate, and receipt of a 50% deposit of the remaining amount, your project enters into our production queue. Due to various production factors completion dates cannot be guaranteed, but delivery is typically 4-8 weeks after final approval is given.
